Make meatballs by combining:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. milk
- 6 Ritz crackers, crushed (I used bread crumbs instead, about 1/2 cup)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Minced onion to taste
For the sauce you'll need:
- 3 cubes beef bouillon dissolved in 1 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 can pineapple tidbits (I used crushed)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1/4 t. salt
- 2 T. corn starch
- 1/4 c. cold water
Combine cornstarch with the cold water and stir into boiling mixture stirring constantly. Simmer and stir until thickened and clear. Add meatballs and simmer an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve over cooked fluffy rice.
Serves 6 to 8.
I am attempting to make this recipe this Sunday because I have all the ingredients. It seems that I try many of your recipes and I lile them a lot. I just have been going out of ideas or needing ingredients for other stuff. LOL
