Sloppy Joes by Chubbie Chica
6 servings, 4 WW points each
Ingredients:
3/4 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper (left out)
3/4 lb ground round
2 c no salt tomato sauce (I used a 14-oz can of Hunt's fire-roasted diced tomatoes)
2 T tomato paste (I used 6 oz and diluted it with a can of water)
1 T prepared mustard
1 t chili powder
2 t Worcestershire sauce
(1 T of A-1 sauce, I love A-1)
1/2 t salt
1/2 t sugar
1/2 t dried oregano
1/8 black pepper
6 light wheat hamburger buns (I used the Arowheat flatbread buns, my favs!)
Heat large nonstick skillet over med. heat. Assemble first 3 ingredients, cook until beef is browned. Stir in tomato sauce and next 8 ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon 1/4 c beef onto bun. Serve.
